No one expected the house Hiccup Horrendous Haddock was sorted into.
He was from a Viking Clan after all. Viking's were honest, loyal, proud, brave, united, and loud, of course. They could swing hard and swig harder. Vikings were Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs and to be sorted into any other house proved you lacked True Vikings Spirit.
Vikings didn't go into Ravenclaw. That was a place for Greeks and scholars and those pompous Englishmen.
Vikings certainly didn't go into Slytherin. A Roman would be more suited for such a place of backward dealings, craftiness and lies.
Hiccup could handle the shock of his classmates (a Horrendous Haddock? In Slytherin? How could he ever expect to take over as chief?) and he could handle his father's disappointment in those short-worded letters. Hiccup was always a bit of a loner and the Slytherin lifestyle catered to that just fine. Everyone in Slytherin minded their own business more or

The Lorax's Magic 6"Yes of course I'm fine!" Audrey said looking away. Onceler rushed by her side and held her tightly. He knew something was wrong but he decided to leave it alone.....for now. Onceler gave Lorax a dark glare. Lorax left he felt horrible how could he been so pigheaded.
"I might go to bed early." said Audrey pushing Onceler away.
"You havn't even had dinner yet!" Onceler said fed up with all this drama.

"Whats on your mind?"

Onceler stood there dumbstruckwhile she ran into his room. He loved her but had to take some time to take all of this in. But whatever happens he won't let her go.

James Phelps and the Lovely Girl 7Alley was typing on her laptop about the interview when she heard shuffling in the room. She looked behind her only to see James looking nervously at her.
"Hey um it's almost time for bed you wanna go ahead and get settled in? You alright James?" Alley asked nervously. James still stood there silent reluctantly he gave her a magazine. She read the title out loud,"James Phelps who played one of the Weasley twins in Harry Potter caught holding new girlfriend by the waist while kissing her neck trying to recreate the movie scene from "The Titanic" is this the girl he wants to spend the rest of his life with?" Alley looked at James in shock. She slumped down on the bed while holding her face in her hands.
"I thought we were alone besides Oliver who didn't have a camera. Did he?" she asked giving him a glance.
"We were and Oliver wouldn't send this to a magazine even if he did have a camera."
She went in the bathroom to change into her pajamas until James knocked on the door. She opened it

The best of all is that note clearly indicates who this was written TO because of the language our president used on it, so we all can know who did it, since only one of our neighborings speaks that dialect

Things I Learned from the AvengersAs a writer, I see everything I watch and read as both entertainment and education. I can learn how to be a better storyteller by experiencing good stories, and I can learn how to avoid being a bad storytelling by experiencing truly awful stories. Thankfully, the Avengers was a great story. Here are a few things I learned about storytelling from the always-brilliant Joss Whedon:
- Introduce the climactic "stage" in act one. While I kind of knew it's a good idea to set up the ending in the beginning, it really impacted me in the Avengers with Stark Tower.
- A team or group of people can have an arc just like a single character can. It takes more skill to pull it off, and it's rather limited, but it can be done well.
- Villains don't always have to be in control or one step ahead or smarter and stronger than the protagonist(s) to be good villains. It's fantastic storytelling when the villain is also the comic relief, the hero's punching bag, and a captive while still posing as a real thr
